The three-match ODI series between India and Australia: Everything You Need to Know

Following a tense Test series, India and Australia are poised to square off in a key three-match ODI series that will be important for both teams’ World Cup preparations later this year in India. The Test series was won by Rohit Sharma and company 2-1, but Australia displayed tenacity in the final two games, which should continue in the ODI series. Hardik Pandya will serve as skipper for the opening ODI in place of skipper Rohit Sharma for the hosts. But Pat Cummins’ services would be missed in Australia because he stayed when his mother passed away. The Australian ODI skipper will still be Steve Smith.

The first of a three-match ODI series between Australia and India will begin on March 17 in Mumbai, with the second and third games taking place in Visakhapatnam and Chennai, respectively.
