Elon Musk’s lawsuit

On February 29, Musk filed a lawsuit against Altman’s OpenAI, alleging contract violations and unethical business practices. Musk claimed in the lawsuit that OpenAI’s emphasis on maximizing Microsoft profits rather than advancing humankind is contrary to the company’s founding principles.

OpenAI reacted to the lawsuit by saying that it “refuted all claims of Musk”. The conflict escalated when OpenAI published a blog post containing old emails that Musk had sent to the company’s founders, in which he was shown endorsing the notion of OpenAI’s for-profit arm and proposing a merger with Tesla. In a court response, the business stated that Musk wants to keep all of the success for himself. (Source : indiatoday.in)
