Today, Airtel 5G Plus service is accessible in more than 265 cities throughout the nation. With its 5G services, the telecom has touched every Indian State and UT, and it intends to serve all major cities and towns by March 2024

Bharti Airtel recently made 125 additional Indian cities compatible with their 5G network. With that, the telecom announced that all Indian Union Territories and States now have connectivity to its fifth-generation network, and it has also gained 10 million new 5G consumers to its new network.

The 5G network connectivity by Airtel, known as Airtel 5G Plus, is currently accessible in more than 265 cities throughout the nation.  CTO of Bharti Airtel, announced the expansion of the Airtel 5G Plus launch to more cities in a statement to ANI “Airtel 5G has transformed the internet, bringing about an entirely new phase of connectivity and services that will fundamentally alter the landscape of the nation. The telco has additionally guaranteed that it will provide subscribers with speedier internet connectivity at no additional cost up till PAN India has finished its rollout. It is noteworthy that Airtel began rolling out its 5G service in India in October 2022. The wireless carrier declared that it is deploying 5G using its non-standalone technology. It means Airtel is deploying its 5G services using the existing 4G LTE network core.

Reliance Jio, a competitor of Airtel, is implementing its 5G services under contract on a Standalone Network, spreading a new Network core for its 5G. Jio has currently extended its 5G network to a sizable number of cities. The new network connectivity, known as Jio Real 5G, is currently accessible in about 300 places.

It’s important to keep in mind that Airtel is now the only network provider that have made the 5G network available for business use. Jio, on the other hand, is only making its 5G services available via invitation.
